| My name is Don Hamrick. I have been playing the drums my entire life. I have toured with many national and regional acts such as "The Clovers", "The Georgia Prophets Band", and "The Rick Elder Show". I also played in the CBS movie "Shake Rattle and Roll" as the drummer for Bill Haley and the Comets. I studied percussion full time at Winthrop University for four years. There I played with the "Large Jazz Ensemble", "Small Jazz Ensemble", "Winthrop Singers", "Pep Band", "Concert Band", and the "Percussion Ensemble". I have been teaching percussion for thirty years, and have been working with Tillman Music for twenty five years. I am proud to be a member of the professional team at Tillman Music. |
