| Keith Oliver has had quite a
musical life! Keith learned to play drums very early, and loved playing
popular music with his guitarist brother. Together, they formed the dance
band, Infinity, which featured music from the Top 40, Beach and Country
genre. The act took Keith and his brother into the realm of musical success,
performing often, while the two were still in high school. Keith continued
formal training, playing drums in the school marching band. Keith literally "grew up" on stage, turning 21 while touring with the group, Rhapsody. He has since played with various groups, performing an array of styles, but always in the limelight. Keith Oliver is a well-known and sought-after drummer, performing as a key member of many recognized acts such as The Main Street Blues Band, The Blue Chip Jazz Band, Silly Rabbit, The Mill Village Apostles and The Dan Plowden Band. Keith studied under one of the area's greatest local legends, Paul T. Riddle of Marshall Tucker Band. In return, Keith now teaches young drum students in hometown, Rock Hill. He also owns and operates a busy and highly successful recording studio. |
